About Us
Mar Gregorios Academic Trust, in the holy name of Saint Geevargese Mar Gregorios who is popularly known as Parumala Thirumeni (Bishop of Parumala )and was the Metropolitan of the Malankara Church, is registered as a public charitable trust under Indian Trust Act in the year 2009. The trust board includes, President & Managing Trustee - Sri Sajeev Thiruvathukkal, Author – Late Rev. Fr. Dr. O.P. Varghese, Smt Leelamma, Trust Secretary, Sri Biju Jacob, Trust treasurer, Rev Fr. Justin P Thomas & Sri Minson M Paul, Trust Members.
MGAT which was started in the year 2009 has created its own milestones in the field of social service. Mar Gregorios Academic Trust firmly believes that every human being must live a dignified life. We have firmly put this belief into action, empowered vulnerable, marginalized communities and provided them with the social as well as economic dignity. We work to provide holistic care and a support system by guiding, educating, and giving them love and care that they deserve. We act as a transition for the children and make them capable of helping the society in return. We aim at restoring the bright future and for the underprivileged.

The Milestones Of MGAT
Since 2009 MGAT created its own milestones in the field of social service, community development activities & educational activities in Vaikom Taluk. The prestigious project of MGAT is TGM Vidyaniketan secondary CBSE school. Thiruvathukkal Gheevarghese Kathanar Memorial, TGM Vidyaniketan, is initiated and founded by Mr. Sajeev Thiruvathukkal in the year 2003 in Late Rev. Fr. Gheevarghese Thiruvathukkal, who served as the vicar of Mar Augen Church and founded Mar Augen Catholicate Centre Manakunnam. Revd. Thiruvathukkal Achan devoted his whole life for the development and the upliftment of the poor ones irrespective of caste creed sex and community. Mar Augen worshipping community at Maravanthuruthu seeks unseen Heavenly Blessings through the intersession of Parumala Thirumeni, the declared saint. It is the Best CBSE School Award winning CBSE School in Vaikom Taluk for its meritorious contribution in the field of education through admirable academic & nonacademic, and other social service activities conducted during the past 18 years. TGM has received the award from Block Panchayath President Vaikom. In the year 2021, TGM has raised its name with two awards; The Best Emerging School of Kerala award and the Global School Award. TGM is a minority status certified school through which the trust has extended its service activity to a broader platform.
